Role Description
TEEM is a full-service marketing agency located in Denver, Colorado. We serve clients utilizing a hybrid model, combining full-time staff positions with a network of specialized, multi-disciplinary freelance talent to execute strategic, creative and digital projects. This position is for a full-time salaried staff position to be a core member of our “TEEM Team”.

TEEM partners with diverse clients on a broad range of projects, retainer services and campaigns – such as planning and strategy, branding, messaging, packaging, web dev, SEO, social media, content marketing, lead gen, performance media and general creative development.

The Lead Graphic Designer ensures that each client’s desired message and identity is conveyed to consumers by leading the visual aspects of an advertising or media campaign. They collaborate with our strategists, writers, digital marketers and developers to lead design projects from concept through production.

Position Details:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week.
  • Location: Currently 100% remote, but candidates must be in the Denver area for periodic team meet-ups.
  • Start Date: As soon as possible.
  • Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000 depending on experience.
  • Currently living in the Denver/Boulder, CO area strongly preferred.

  • Flex-time / Remote: So long as responsibilities are being performed and time off is approved, there is no cap on time off or remote work.
  • Paid/Closed Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Typically closed the day after Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas/New Years.
  • Business development incentive of 5% for work referred into TEEM from your personal network.
  • Continuing education opportunities, memberships, events and tools/software/resources provided by the agency.


  • Approximately 5 years experience as a Graphic Designer, with experience in an agency environment.
  • Expert in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Strong sense of typography, color theory, design, and layout.
  • Strong portfolio of work encompassing branding, digital, and print design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, and priorities at a time.
  • Desire to join a small but mighty marketing agency.
  • Strong communicator, receptive to feedback and direction.
  • Experience in UX/UI design and Figma for webpage design is a plus.
  • Experience in motion graphics, Premiere, or After Effects is a plus.

Our Lead Graphic Designer owns:

Creative Campaign Development & Brand Consistency

  • Operates as the primary advocate for the consistent and faithful application of each client’s visual brand and personality across all types of designed assets—print, digital, social, web, and experiential.
  • Will work on everything from full rebrands to updating a headline on an existing sales sheet, and everything in between.
  • Determines how best to represent a concept or idea visually, which images, art, animations, or other design elements to use, and leads the overall look of a campaign or asset.
  • Presents designs to clients for approval and responds to their questions and feedback in tandem with our account team.
  • Talks to clients and conducts discovery to develop an understanding of brand personality, artistic approach and style.

Web & Digital Design

  • Uses UI/UX best practices and tools like Figma to design high-functioning and engaging webpages and landing pages.
  • Enjoys rolling their sleeves up and bringing their designs to life in digital—whether it be a campaign landing page or an email newsletter in HubSpot.
  • Stays abreast on the latest trends in digital ads design and creates campaign creative that converts.

Design Processes & Standards

  • Establishes workflow, processes, and standards for design-oriented tasks.
  • Manages project design files in Google Drive and ensures clients, the internal team, and freelancers have access to the assets and resources they need.
  • Ensures that native files are delivered on every design project according to both TEEM and the client’s specifications and standards.

Agency Involvement

  • Maintains availability and manages a flexible work schedule that accommodates the agency’s workload and client deadlines.
  • Actively participates in ongoing TEEM process improvement.
  • Supports our Account leads in managing our own visual brand.
  • Represents TEEM at industry and client events as well as in the creative community.
